Ireland Motorsports aim to provide an avenue for young people aged 16-24 to gain access and provide career development into all areas of the motorsport industry.

We have successfully piloted activities during 2025 enabling 4 young people to experience different aspects and disciplines of motor sport. We are now looking to build on this experience for 2026 and beyond.​

Born in Yorkshire in 1930, Innes Ireland began motor racing in 1952 at Boreham and progressed to Formula One, driving for Team Lotus in 1959. His legacy continues through Ireland Motorsports, inspiring the next generation of drivers and promoting opportunities for young people.
