Working with Young People
Ireland Motorsports was set up in 2024 with the aim of encouraging and actively promoting young people aged 18-24, focusing on young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the opportunity to “get back on track”. Providing an avenue to gain access and potentially provide career development into ALL areas of the motorsport industry.

Ireland Motorsports offers all young people 18-24 a bespoke 10/12 week life skill programme offering workshops and opportunities to achieve relevant transferable qualifications in various vocational areas, working with our experienced Youth Workers, to include –
- First Aid
- Drug and Alcohol Awareness
- Youth Work and Community Development
- Mental Wellbeing Awareness
- Food and Hygiene
In addition to this, the individual will be offered the opportunity to partake in a choice of taster and experience days as part of the Ireland Motorsports Team – to include –
- Pit crew day
- Supporting the Team @ a motorsport event on the event stand
- Opportunity to be a passenger in one of the Team Hunt/Goodridge race cars on a demonstration day at Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb or track day
- Tandem Skydiving with the Red Devils and or the Parachute Association
- Weekend away at one of the Hampshire County Council run outward bound properties, with a choice of two activities
- Relevant work experience with chosen mentor, and with support into apprenticeship, and/or a future career
