What we offer
Ireland Motorsports aim to provide an avenue for young people aged 16-24 to gain access and provide career development into all areas of the motorsport industry. ​

For this to happen in a constructive and secure environment, Ireland Motorsports will assess suitable apprentices and match them with a suitable mentor. ​

We have produced a short guide that you may find useful: ‘FROM CLASSROOM TO PIT LANE‘.​

How it works
Ireland Motorsports offers individuals the opportunity to partake in a choice of taster and experience days as part of the Ireland Motorsports Team – these include –
  • Pit Crew Day
  • Supporting the Team at a motorsport event on the event stand
  • Opportunity to be a passenger in one of the Team Hunt/Goodridge race cars on a demonstration day at a Hillclimb or a Track Day
  • Introduction to Motorsports Photography
  • Relevant work experience with chosen mentor, and with support into apprenticeship, and/or a future career

Working with Young People

Ireland Motorsports was set up in 2024 with the aim of encouraging and actively promoting young people aged 16-24, giving them the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

By providing an avenue to gain access and career development into areas of the motorsport industry, they are given an opportunity to not only enter into the world of motorsport, but also to make lifelong career connections.
